The National Council unanimously adopted the draft Federal Act on the Development Finance Corporation SIFEM in its session on December 4, 2023.
The draft now goes back to the Council of States, where it is expected to be dealt with again in the spring session. With this proposal, the existing regulations at the level of ordinance will be transformed into law. Jörg Frieden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SIFEM, commented: “We are very pleased with this clear result: it represents trust and support for our activities.”
