Tuninvest International

Tuninvest International is a generalist private equity fund investing in Tunisia. Its main shareholders are IFC, EIB, FMO, Proparco and SECO.  SECO has committed USD 2.0 million to the fund.

The fund's strategy is to invest in family-owned companies seeking to enhance their marketing and strategic expertise in the domestic market. The fund targets small and medium enterprises (SMEs) showing a high growth rate and wanting to expand their activities locally or internationally through a partnership with companies in the Maghreb or overseas. Investments are made primarily through equity, often combined with quasi-equity instruments.

Tuninvest International is managed by Tuninvest Finance Group (TFG), a leading private equity house in North and sub-Saharan Africa, active since 1994. TFG manages multiple funds covering North, Central and West Africa, and is the co-founder of the African Venture Capital Association.
