TTB Credit Line

The Trust Bank Limited (TTB) is a fully licensed commercial bank in Ghana, and is currently one of the 50 largest enterprises in the country. It is a small to medium sized bank with a market share of ~3% by assets. Its financial services comprise a range of short to medium term loans, trade finance, FX-operations, fund management and retail banking, i.e. account and payment services, saving and investment products, cash pick-up and payroll services. The core customers of TTB are corporate institutions, individuals, SMEs and financial institutions primarily for treasury operations.

SECO invested USD 2.5 million into TTB, comprising of a USD 2.0 million loan denominated in Ghanaian Cedi and a USD 500,000 loan in dollar currency. The purpose of the loan was to expand TTB's small and medium enterprise (SME) lending. This is SECO's second loan to TTB.
