Thierry Buchs heads the Investment Promotion Division in the Development Cooperation Directorate of SECO (State Secretariat for Economic Affairs). Thierry has over 10 years of experience in the field of development cooperation with a focus on macroeconomic and financial issues. He has been working as a senior economist for both SECO and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
 
Thierry holds a PhD in International Economics.
