SIFEM is the exclusive advisor to the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) of the Swiss Confederation for its investment promotion portfolio in emerging markets. The SIFEM team has managed the SECO portfolio from within SECO since 1999, and as SIFEM independently since 2005. SIFEM monitors SECO‘s existing fund and financial institution investments and advises SECO on new investment opportunities.
